Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing any service tier (Payroll only, HR & Payroll, or à la carte), you agree to these Terms. Services are non-transferable and may require additional agreements for Enterprise tiers.

2. Service Descriptions

  • Free Tier: Limited-access resources; no guaranteed support.

  • Paid Tiers: Features as described on pricing pages. We reserve the right to update offerings with 30 days’ notice (email or dashboard alert).

  • Disaster Recovery Services: Do not replace professional emergency responders. Clients are responsible for implementing plans.

3. Payment & Billing

  • Subscription Fees: Recurring charges are billed monthly/annually in advance.

    • Per-Employee Pricing: Adjusted automatically when headcount changes.

  • Late Payments: Accounts >10 days overdue may be suspended.

  • Refunds: No refunds for partial months. Annual plans prorated if canceled within 30 days.

4. Cancellation & Downgrades

  • Notice Required: 30 days for cancellations (email to  info@businesswithwatson.com).

  • Downgrades: Take effect at next billing cycle. No refunds for prepaid periods.

  • Data Retention: Paid-tier data deleted 90 days post-cancellation.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: Provide correct employee counts/payroll data. Underreporting may trigger audits + fees.

  • Compliance: Adhere to local laws (e.g., Atlanta sick leave). We provide tools, not legal advice.

  • Disaster Preparedness: Test emergency plans annually.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Maximum Liability: Limited to fees paid in the last 6 months.

  • Exclusions: Not liable for:

    • Disaster-related losses (e.g., flood damage).

    • Payroll penalties due to client-submitted errors.

    • Third-party integrations (e.g., QuickBooks sync failures).

7. Disaster Service Disclaimers

  • SBA/FEMA Links: Informational only. We don’t guarantee approval for loans/grants.

  • Emergency Comms: Delivery depends on carrier/service availability.

8. Governing Law

Disputes resolved under Georgia law in [County] courts. Class-action waivers apply.

 

9. Consultation Cancellation

All consultations require a 24-hour cancellation notification if unable to attend via email: info@businesswithwatson.com. $100 no-show fee for all no-show consultations without notification. NO EXCEPTIONS.

10. Updates to Terms

These terms are subject to change.

Changes posted 30 days in advance. Continued use = acceptance.
